I believe in true love. I believe in love at first sight. I believe love conquers all. And that doesn’t mean there’s not going to be hard days or difficult things to deal with, because there will be, but finding that person who does it for you and knowing that person loves you back - it just makes things so much easier.If she loves me and I love her, what’s there to figure out?

I thought about how we feel lonely, sometimes to the point of tears, but we don’t let those tears come because we are not supposed to cry. Or how we feel a surge of love for a partner but we don’t say anything because we’re frozen with fear of what those words might do.

You ever heard the expression ‘the best things in life are free’? Well, that expression is true. Every once in awhile, people step up and rise above themselves. Sometimes they surprise you and sometimes they fall short. Life is funny sometimes, it can push pretty hard but if you look close enough, you can find hope in the words of children, in the bars of songs and in the eyes of someone you love and if you’re lucky - if you’re the luckiest person this entire planet, the person you love decides to love you back.

As hard as it was to move on, I think I’m okay with how we are. At some point, we both wish we didn’t ignore each other like that. I’ll be forgiving you, just like you were forgiving me. People make mistakes, second chances are okay. It’s like a weight has just been lifted, I can finally breathe and not worry about what he will say, or when he would finally stopped ignoring me. Because now I no longer care; he doesn’t concern me anymore. I just wonder if he’ll come back to me, wishing he had never screwed things up .

I feel more comfortable talking to strangers than people I know sometimes. Perhaps this is because I'll probably never see them ever again and I feel like I can say anything I want. They don't know my past or what I've done. They can only judge me on who they're seeing right at that very moment. I am the person I am now, not then. Some people I know don't see the difference.
